Our Executive Chef, David Henry loves to wow our guests with amazing Small Plates, Entrees, and Specials to enthrall your taste buds. Our Managing Partner, Jeff Wilkowski, ensures you receive only the very best service. Offering a full bar, Bar Manager, Jaime Rosario, creates specially crafted cocktails that are exceptional and unique. The owner's favorite is the Fashion Nut and it is an absolute must if you love a great Old Fashioned.

Dinner Service is Monday - Saturday has won the South Lake Chamber of Commerce best place for dinner multiple years. We offer an amazing Brunch every Sunday morning. Our Fried Green Tomatoes and Shrimp & Grits have won awards and our Pork Chop is a must try.

    Our favorite date night restaurant! We brought friends from out of town for a late dinner and we were beyond thrilled. We never felt rushed to leave and enjoyed how knowledgeable our server was on all the menu items. The fried green tomatoes are always amazing and the pork chop was literal perfection!

    We went on Valentine’s Day. They had a special menu with only 4 meals. We went at 7pm and at that time they already ran out of two of the 4 entrees they had. My daughter asked for grilled cheese and they told us a while after ordering that they weren’t able to make that since they also ran out of that. I don’t think they prepared for one of the biggest ‘going out to dinner’ nights. We have always loved Root and Branch and now don’t care to ever go back. My husband said his $55 steak dinner was the worst steak he’s ever had. My dinner said one thing on the menu then I got totally different sides than it said on the menu. The waitress said they didn’t even carry what was on the menu so she said that was weird it said that. Overall not a good experience or dinner that we paid almost $200 for.

    The staff seemed overwhelmed by the crowd, even with a limited menu. The food had good taste, but was dry as if it had been prepared well in advance. The desserts did not taste freshly prepared and were not properly reheated. All in all it seemed like a very off night for the establishment. The staff was cordial and pleasant though, you could tell they were trying.

    Dined 2/14/25, main course of pork tenderloin and other was chicken breast. Pork was dry and ove rcooked and needed seasonings. No salt or pepper on table. Chicken had no flavor , stuffed with peppers. Check was $100. Dine else where!

    Excellent discovery. It was our first time and we will return again. A true quality scratch kitchen restaurant. Our server was fantastic, kind and professional. Thank you. We highly recommend.

    The food was so good, we both cleaned our plates, not something I do very often. There was a crowd so a bit noisy but I’m glad they were having a good night. They also have outdoor seating that would be more quiet. I highly recommend!

    We tried so many of the new Happy Hour options. They were incredible. We had the Brie, the bologna slider, the patties, etc. all of which were just amazing. Highly recommend.

    We love Root and Branch however our experience last night was not good. They didn’t have the wine that was on their wine list We ordered an appetizer which never arrived. We always get the pork chop which is a nice thick cut chop. Our meal came with the chop in 2 thin filets. The table next to us also ordered the chop. Their meal came as expected with a thick cut seared chop. I asked the manager why we got a pork chop cut in half and honestly his explanation made no sense because people after us got the correct thing This was not an end of the evening meal where they possibly could have run out of things either. Our reservation was at 6. We had a first time guest with us. So sorry that the meal was so disappointing

    Serving staff was delightful. Food was great. Would recommend skipping the mashed potatoes - workshop itself was amazing. Crème brûlée was awesome. Sad they were out of bread pudding and flan.
