   Such a great restaurant. Comfortable but upscale, great food, GREAT service from the minute you walk in the door. Highly recommend the coconut cake.

   Service was a bit slow if you're on your lunch break. Tomato soup.... amazing! The roast beef and gruyere cheese sandwich was very good, but the onion rings were too salty.

   I have eaten at South Park Roosters every time I am in Charlotte. This visit was not a disappointment, but truly an off experience. The mussels had several (7) unopened ones. I did bring this up to the waiter who didn't seem to know this was not good. He did the right thing by us in the end. The salad I ordered did not fit the description, added bacon (?) and the lettuce wasn't as advertised. The entree (pork loin) was delicious. We ordered the Butterscotch cheesecake for dessert and got pumpkin pie! By this time, I wasn't complaining anymore. The pumpkin pie was delicious. So not sure where the drop in communication happened. So the inconsistencies were too many to NOT mention. Will certainly give another try in the future. Tricia Scholtz

   Tried tilefish first time, it was delicious. This place is pricey. Hard to make a conversation in the main sitting area because of the noise level. Great management. Our food came late and the manager took care of us nicely.

    We were very disappointed with our meal last night. We had a 7:15 reservation and they were already out of bread even though they have their own bakery. They were also out of potatoes gratin. Our waiter was very hurried with us. This is not the Roosters we are accustomed to.
