Rooster's Wood-fired Kitchen is thrilled for its first expansion since 2012, opening at The Bowl at Ballantyne with more than 30 years of culinary tradition and craftsmanship under its belt. Rooster's is known for elevated simplicity with dishes that allow seasonal, often locally sourced ingredients to shine. With this location, Rooster's debuts a refreshed approach to interior design with a nod to the outdoors and the recreation of fly fishing. Enjoy signature dishes that showcase humble comforts, such as rotisserie chicken, hanger steak, grilled salmon, Margaux's succotash, mac & cheese, butter wilted spinach, and more in a relaxed, light-filled dining space or on the expansive patio.

This was our first experience with Roosters. The place was extremely busy. Our service was amazing and our server very personable and energetic. The food was very good and the portions more than I could eat in one sitting. It was a little pricey, but not out of line with many places today. Main dining area was rather noisy for our liking, but we were seated in a side room and it was much quieter there. Great first experience and we will return.

The food and service at Rooster's was good. I would highly recommend the fried oysters as an appetizer.

Although the appearance of the restaurant is lovely, once the lunch hour was on full swing, I found it to be extremely noisy. I miss the intimacy we have enjoyed in the uptown location. Service was excellent, however the food was sub-par. The salmon cakes were all breading and tasteless. I looked hard to find a hint of salmon in the mix. The butternut squash and brussels sprouts were so salty I struggled to finish eating them. I expected much more for the price I paid for my meal.

The food was delicious. We ate here for brunch and the smoked turkey blt, ribeye steak sandwich and grilled salmon were great. Service was excellent and atmosphere very nice!

We've been dining at Roosters for years. Love the new location as it's closer to home. Our server, Daniel, did a great job making sure we had a great experience. Food was delicious, as always. Will definitely be a regular spot for us

I’ve been to Roosters in SouthPark and Uptown which seem smaller and more intimate. The Ballantyne location feels like a brewery inside - high ceilings, and open concept. Maybe that’s the vibe they want to create, but prefer the other two locations. Food execution was missed and service was not as tight.

First time at any Rooster’s. Overall very good, but price point for drinks is higher than most of the restaurants in the area. This will keep me from being a regular. Was good for the group of 8 going out for a special occasion. Minor issue with those who ordered pizza which came out well ahead of the entrees. Might just be a new server crew not understanding or kitchens not coordinating.
