Ronin features elgant farm cuisine with a constantly evolving menu. Set in the beautiful, newly-renovated historic Ice House on Main in downtown Bryan, our restaurant shares an open-air kitchen with our dining room, floor to ceiling exposed brick, and hand-built, suspension tables made from wood salvaged during renovation.

Our menu is updated daily, based on what we have harvested from our garden during that given week. Our farm is located just seven miles from our restaurant. The climate and changing seasons play a major role in what we serve. It is our intention to always provide a variety of menu options and to accommodate any dietary needs.

    Loved atmosphere and service . Not thrilled with my meal choice but salad, bread and drink was wonderful. Everyone else in our party loved their entrees!

    Not quite as good as our last visit. Options were limited on the menu. I shared fried veggies as an appetizer and had the pasta with chicken. The meat was brown meat and had a lot of fat on it. The veggies were onion rings and I’m not sure what else. It was mostly batter that I tasted. Service was very slow. It took over 20 minutes to receive our drinks. We arrived at 6:30 and the place wasn’t that crowded. Not sure if we’ll go back.

    The presentation of the food needed some work. The food was highly oily; the mashed potatoes tasted like they had been cooked two weeks ago, and the salad was so oily we could not eat it. The only thing that was good was the Chicken Fried Steak, but the hamburger was dried, and my husband could not eat it. The drinks were delicious, and also, the service was lovely.

    This place has a great atmosphere. The food is lacking and over priced. The service was horrible. The restaurant was not busy but the bartender was assigned our table. She got the order wrong and we never had our waters refilled or asked if we wanted more drinks. Also, never came around to check if our meals were correct or good. The price of the restaurant I expect better service. Also, we requested a Gluten free entree and what they brought from the kitchen had gluten in it. It was just a horrible experience. I would not go back.

    The Chicken Fried Steak was absolutely to die for and the chimichurri on the incredibly tender NY Strip was so flavorful!! Our server was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable! 10/10 would eat here again!

    I love the farm to table aspect! The food tasted so fresh and you could tell it was made with good, natural ingredients. My friends and I loved the intimate, dim lighting and dark ambience. Would come back again!

    I saw that the Ronin instagram posted about bunch today and I decided to pop in and it was incredible! I got a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and a latte to drink but the star of the show was the Beignets which came with a delicious coffee caramel sauce. Everyone should be on the lookout for when Ronin is open for brunch!!
