   Amazing experience, Giovanni the manager himself tossed our cheese wheel pasta he was so nice and attentive. Everything we had was so good! Portions are very generous so come in hungry. They told us they have a great happy hour so we would definitely be back to try it.

   The ambience, service and food were top tier! Looking forward to dining here again! Gio and the entire crew were attentive and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful evening everything was absolutely delicious. Our complimentary desserts were perfection! 10/10!

   Everything was excellent! We had fiori di zucca (fried zucchini flowers) as a starter, and then artichoke ravioli and lasagna sugo romano for the mains. Both dishes were hot and delicious, and the service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back.

    Our first time at Romanissimo and I'm sure we will return. Alec was our server and he was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good - the fettuccini alfredo being the favorite at our table. The lobster stuffed ravioli were also good and the chef graciously split our plate for my husband and me. My son-in-law had the artichoke stuffed ravioli in a pesto sauce and he ate every bite. The artichoke appetizer that we shared was ok - a bit too much vinegar used we all thought. The drawback for us was twofold - the music was soooooo loud and there weren't that many people there - it was difficult to talk at our table of four! I really think they could turn it down several notches for more comfort. Also, the chairs are not comfortable at all. Next time we will ask for a bench seat table and sit side-by-side. Otherwise, this is a good Italian restaurant and a great addition to the Gaslamp.
