   This was a rather forgettable experience. The food was bland, appetizers (tempura) seemed undercooked and lacking altogether the umami flavors I normally associate with these Japanese dishes.

   I’ve been coming here every birthday for 20 years and I wouldn’t change a thing. We got blessed with Kevin as our chef for the night which IMO is always an added treat!

   We walked in and it looked like a day care facility! Kids weee playing on the floor and we couldn’t even walk to our table. Fried rice is terrible. Drinks are 11 dollars with minimal alcohol and small. The restaurant needs a makeover!

   Always a wonderful time coming here. We can always count on amazing service and incredible food. Been coming for over 30+ years and literally drive from downtown Chicago because no one else can compare. When the Rokbonki crave hits....we just can't help ourselves. Thanks for so many years of wonderful memories and full bellies!!

   We had an excellent time. The cook that we had was one of the more social cooks we've had. Very friendly and outgoing. He did a great job of making the food and with the entertainment in the process
