About this restaurant

  • Good for groups
  • Good for special occasions
  • Lively
Rococo St Kilda's atmosphere is both seductive and vibrant, bustling and intimate. The place where Rococo’s signature antipasti boards and simple Italian flavours first came to be, it continues to attract diners from all over Melbourne some 10 years later. Set amongst some of Melbourne’s most loved sites – The Palais, The National Theatre and St Kilda beach to name a few – our expanded restaurant space is bigger than ever, yet remains cosy and flexible, with various spaces available for functions and plenty of nooks for private dining or close conversations.
Join us for a meal of many courses; a hearty breakfast to start the day, a jovial work lunch, a family get together or just a glass of wine to celebrate the end of a day. Oh and our Wood Fire Pizzas are a must. Enjoy the authenticity, quality and warm hospitality of modern Italy right here in Melbourne.
Al fresco outside seating also available.

Rococo is always excellent for dining. Food is fabulous. The service is excellent and we always feel special. They always check if we're going to a show so food is served in time. Prices are not over the top. It is our go to restaurant when down in St Kilda.

The meals were plentiful and delicious. An extensive menu. A little above the average in price. Noisy but to be expected as it was very busy. Our waiter was brilliant especially as one of our table had allergy issues. He was very polite and engaging. He even organised the rain to stop in time for us to leave!

What can I say, when ever we book a show at the Palais Theatre, we always enjoy a great meal at Rococo St Kilda. Food is good, service spectacular and the menu cateres for everyone's palate. This time we decided on a Salumi Plate to share, which was awesome for our meal. Looking forward to our next show or just a night out.

Friendly staff. Delicious Food. Celebrating a family birthday for 9 people. The cakeage of $3.50 per person was worth it with cake slices coming out played with ice cream and berry coulis. Not a quiet restaurant.

I dined at 9pm- I visit Rococco without fail everytime I’m in Melbourne. It’s a vibe. The food was so delicious, every single bite and spoonful from the Carbonara Arancini through the Margherita pizza to the decadent Tiramisu. And the best mixed cosmo I’ve ever had and I’ve enjoyed them all around the world. Got the recipe! I felt relaxed and so comfortable. Lovely and attendant wait staff. Perfect.

Came in when it was quiet. We waited for some time before someone came to take our order and that’s only because we had to flag someone down. Otherwise great place and food was excellent.

Regular go to place. Just a night where service and food were not up to the normal high standards. This happens unfortunately. For this I refuse to tip.
