Very nice venue. Service was slow. The ribeye steak was too grissly. The other food was delicious. There were children banging their silverware on the table. The manager did come out and talked to the family. Will go back again. Thank you

The appetizer: chicken wings -worth the trip by itself. Had amazing salmon with cranberry sauce. The staff was most pleasant and the torte for my birthday was the best!!

Good for nothing else being around. Good was good but a little more expensive than expected. Would be a good lunch spot.

Food and service were great. Prices good for quality of food. One thing would make it better. No bread served or even available except cornbread. Cornbread is ok but does not suit most offered options. White fresh baked bread should be a staple at prices charged.

Convinent because there is not many dining options, but the food was terrible and overpriced. It took forever for it to be cooked. The waitress never apologized for the wait. Will not go back.

Everyone loved their food. The chili was our favorite! Service was great and so was the ambiance. We'd definitely go back for another meal if back at hocking hills.

Beautiful restaurant. Understaffed. Sat down and ordered food and drinks five minutes later. Drinks took 20 min to come from the bar and were short pours (I used to bartend I know when I’m not getting a full serve). Food took 45 min. We have small children. Just not acceptable.

It took to long to be offered drinks a then finally be served drinks 30 minutes later. Dinner was delayed as well. When it was finally served 1 hot and 15 minutes after being seated, my wife’s dinner had been overcooked but served cold and dry.

The service was quick and efficient. There were several healthy choices available. (We understand that the service is not always quick and efficient, but we had a great dining experience.) There is a modest "Beautification Fee" added onto your bill. Entrance to the state parks is free, so this fee (tax) is one way to generate money for the upkeep and improvements in the state parks.

This restaurant requires reservations 7 days a week. Don't know why. When we arrived for our Sunday evening 6:45, there were only a few tables in use. The dining room is a large open lodge-type space, exposed structural wood beams, etc. Comfortable seating. The staff weren't busy but we sat for a while before the server came. She did apologize, saying she wasn't told she had customers at one of her tables. She was actually quite nice and knew what she was doing. Unfortunately, the kitchen didn't seem as diligent. It was close to an hour from time we sat until we got our food (in a near empty restaurant!) Food was OK, nothing great, sort of "casual family restaurant" stuff. Breakfast is also served here, but it is decidely over-priced (even with the egg-supply crisis.) We would have gone elsewhere but next nearest sit-down breakfast place was 10 miles away.
