We had a wonderful experience at Roberto's! Quaint little restaurant in beautiful downtown Bristol. The service was superb, the food came out quickly, well timed from our appetizers. Great menu and excellent drinks. Tiramisu was delicious!

Second time here. Was our first date and we had such a good time with Paula (head waitress/hostess) and her daughter Allie (sp?) that when we got an unexpected opportunity - we went back. Great service. Nice setting. Classic italian menu. Has a cafe adjacent for over-flow or if you need something a little more quiet. But it truly is the staff and service that makes this place. We felt almost like family from minute one. Highly recommended.

We had veal saltimbocca and seared scallops. The veal dish was so so, lacking in flavor, unlike any saltimbocca we have had. The scallop dish was meager with 4 small scallops. I had asked if they were sea scallops and while they said yes, they were very small sea scallops. The scallops did not have the sweet scallop flavor I enjoy. The dessert flan was very good as was the special gnocchi chicken soup;

The food was just okay. If you like pasta dishes then it’s acceptable. Red sauce and cheese can mask anything. The stuffing for cod fish and mushroom appetizer need a lot of help as it was bland and not worth being on the menu. We left unsatisfied and went home and had popcorn to fill that hankering void. Our waitress was wonderful, and atmosphere was nice. Noise level moderate. Seems like a lot of people enjoy it, as people were flocking in. Bristol is always a beautiful area to drive around and visit. Try for yourself make your own assessment, but this place is not for me, I didn’t like it 10 years ago either.
