   We were happy to learn the Roadhouse Cafe reopened, and the addition of valet parking (because that parking lot was a challenge!) was appreciated and set a nice tone for the evening. The staff from valet to host were friendly and welcoming. Our server Vincent was attentive, friendly and kind and we appreciated his service. The menu is varied without being overwhelming. The food arrived quickly without feeling rushed. Everything ordered was perfectly cooked, from the calamari appetizer to the “best tasting salmon dish ever”, the well seasoned steak tips, and a truly authentic Carbonara that was lick the plate delicious. We will be back, and looking forward to enjoying live music there as well.

   Food was very good & piping hot. Service was a little slow, but not because of the server: Too many diners were seated in his section within 10 (or so) minutes of our arrival, which meant everyone's orders were put in at the same time, which lead to longish wait times. Perhaps seating folks in different sections to spread out demand would work a little better? Lighting in restaurant was also a little bright for us (but now I'm just being fussy). Overall, it was a good dining experience. We are very happy the Roadhouse is back open - it was always one of our favorite spots, especially in the winter. We will be back, for sure!

   Glad that the Roadhouse reopened! The food was very good and the service from the wait staff was excellent. A few things are holding back from being 4 or 5 stars. The tables are packed right next to each other. We sat at a table that was feet away from the bathroom in the back room and had to move each time to allow people by. Understand how expensive meat it for sure. But all was a la carte. Steak tips were about $32.00 with no veggie or starch. Each would be $9.00 each. Highlight was the return of the Chicken Homard! Just like it was over the many years! Noise level was very loud, the music from the speakers was very high. Could barely hear the person across from you. Many good things for the Roadhouse, do need a few adjustments. Would consider another visit at a future time. Please fix that table by the single bathroom for 2. Not overly acceptably.

   There were 4 of us dining. Our check-in time was 5:45 and 2 of us were on time. The waiter took both my husband and my drink orders. Soon, the other couple joined us and put in their drink orders. Their drinks came right out, my husband needed to change his order because they didn't have the bourbon he ordered and we both waited another 15 minutes for our drinks. I ordered a whiskey on the rocks which they had, but the waiter forgot my "lemon twist." He then asked to take our order which went well and told us he would bring us rolls. It was another 25 minutes before they came out...5 minutes later our meals came. I think the place is going to do well after they work out "kinks" they have. We will try it again in the future.

    We tried out the new Roadhouse Cafe because to Bart Weisman Trio was playing that evening. The food was tasty and the service was promt and graciould certainly return.
