Nice waiter is the only thing positive I can say. Lukewarm food. 40 minutes for drinks. Got oysters appetizer after we wrapped up our meals. Slow slow slow. I cancelled my second beer because I finished my meal before it arrived. Wish we went elsewhere, anywhere.

Unfortunately, we didn’t dine with Water Street Grill after all. We reserved through Open Table, and that was fine. However, when I called to ask if we could add our 7 year old grandson, because our babysitter fell through, we were told they could accommodate us in an outside heated tent, the manager added that it was comfortable. I said fine, but when we got there, all the tables positioned in the center of the tent, directly under the heaters above, were filled, and we were seated off to the side of the tent where there were no heaters. It was drafty and cold. So, we went back inside and told the manager we were leaving because it would be miserable to sit and try and enjoy a dinner in the cold draft. I’m sure he was overwhelmed with it being Valentine’s Day, and I didn’t think to ask, but he could have suggested a 3rd chair at our already reserved table. Instead, he told us the tent was heated and comfortable. No, it wasn’t heated and comfortable on the sides of the tent where they wanted to put us. Lesson learned. Lol. However, it was a disappointment. There are so many good places to dine in the local areas, we won’t be back.

Very nice Christmas Eve lunch in this bar/restaurant on Yorktown’s “modern” water front. Appetizer was great, entrees were good and the dessert was spectacular. Nice views and extremely friendly service. Visit the book/antique shop across the street for fun nostalgia.

Great food and service and the outdoor seating was nice. Busy atmosphere until after 7pm but then quieted down. Food selection is good and craft beer menu changes often but has solid choices.

"What an incredible dining experience! From the mouthwatering beef tenderloin to the pink-coated chef who treated us like royalty at the carving station, every bite felt like a taste of perfection. Julia our server was an absolute gem, chatting away and making us feel right at home, she's extremely good at her job. And that themed cocktail with Gin and St. Germain? Oh, it was like sipping on sunshine! The view of the river from our window seat was simply breathtaking, and even the manager swung by to ensure our happiness. With over 20 years in the biz, I've gotta say, this was top-notch. Easter tradition? You betcha!"

This was the Easter Buffet. Food was generally good especially the beef tenderloin and tuna. We didn’t partake of the breakfast foods except for the smoked salmon, which was enjoyable. Some of the dishes were dried out and congealed due to the extended time in chafing dishes - especially the shrimp and grits and mashed potatoes. We were seated at a small table in the rear of the banquet room on folding chairs. Ambiance was non-existent. All the tables with views were for large parties. Key lime pie was good. Servers were great. Bar service slow.
