   One of the best Italian restaurants in New Jersey . Prices not on cheap side but the portions are huge and expect leftovers. Everything is delicious

   MV lovely. A bit pricey but we’ll go back on occasion. Can’t afford to make it twice a week.

   What a perfect evening for me to catch up with an old colleague. Great table. Restaurant is spectacular. Service was spot on. Had the fish special and it was perfect! Desert was home made and also perfect. Overall so good my wife and I headed back again tonight!!! Will also probably have my wife’s birthday dinner there again this year. Very special restaurant.

   This was our first time here and was a recommendation from a friend. The décor is lovely, warm and comfortable. Our main comments was the cost of everything. The least expensive California Chardonnay was in the $74 a bottle. The salads ranged around $18.00 and was a mid size salad. Three of us shared one, each getting about 2/3rd of a cup each. We were told red snapper would be substituted for the sole. We made an assumption and this was our mistake, but thought the substitution was off the regular menu where the sole dish was $37.00. Two of us ordered this, but it turned out to be $56.00 each. The veal parmesan was also expensive at a cost of $39.00 coming with veggies. I say this because there are two other restaurants we go to that have veal parmesan (cut it with a fork) ranging between $28.00 ( with veggies- $2.00 extra for pasta) and $32.00, served with pasta. Our friend wanted angel hair pasta instead and was told the kitchen would not do this, but they would at 1/2 the cost of a pasta dish off the menu. I'm not positive what that cost was, but based on the pasta prices on the menu I'm suspecting it was about $16.00. The only dish I thought was responsible was the bolognaise at a cost of $34.00. With all that said, the quality of the food was very good. Just be prepared to spend a lot when coming here.

   MV is honestly one of the most beautiful, festive and accommodating restaurants. Especially at this time of year- soo festive! We went on a cold night and it was a bit chilly, so I was glad I didn’t wear something sleeveless or backless. The food is amazing and this restaurant really takes pride in their dishes which are family recipes. All 6 of us loved everything!

    Outstanding overall. Attention to customer care and the food were outstanding. This is truly a very good restaurant with a great Italian menu with great quality .. it feels a bit clicky but that’s to be expected in Bernardsville. I will be going back
