Walking in, they gave my wife a rose and the gentleman who lead us in was great. Did the Valentines prix fixe menu. Food was delicious. Filet entree was the least impressive, but the scallops, and the pasta course were great. The pasta i would say amazing. You arent finding pasts done by hand at that level in many places. Service wasnt as hot...(this was a Sunday and it was seemingly slow) We were sat and nobody came for close to 10 minutes to ask about water or drinks. Then when they came, they asked what kind of water and we waited for cocktail menus. We were already 30 minutes in when we got our drinks. We werent taking long on our end but the whole meal took us over 2.5 hours. Server was an older gentleman, very nice but short and not engaged. We noticed another server at tables near us who seemed much more personable and attentive, joking with guests. So these people im sure would leave a much higher rating on service. Then you have a dress code but the table near us, a guy walked in with a sweat suit on like he just came out of the gym, hair all over, and sat in the center with all this attention on him and his guest. He never ate, but you had 2-3 people everytime someone went to the table, and he just had a bottle of wine and sat on his phone... the woman he was with i think at least ate something... It just kind of felt like for a dinner where I walked out paying 400+ we were didnt get 400+ service. The candle even melted quick because of the location of the vent over our table, and it fell into my bottled water. It didnt seem to phase the server when i told him it happend. He just said he should of warned us abour it earlier. We went to the Piano bar after. The bartwnder was great. She was very personable and made great drinks. There was a bar manager there as well and he was great. We went to the piano bar after, whichbwas what youd expect on pricing, but the bartenders were very personable and great

From the valet service (especially on a rainy night) to the staff, food and entertainment, it was an amazing dining experience. Roses for the women, heart shaped napkins and heart shaped bread…special details made the experience special for Valentine’s. Don’t find places like this anymore. Can’t wait to go back.

After arriving, we were seated promptly. The restaurant was busy, so that was a pleasant surprise. As usual, the service and food were exceptional. Roberto made sure our experience was flawless and enjoyable. Bravo

Our Valentine dinner at Lucca was absolutely exceptional! After enjoying perfect Manhattans by the bartender, Sean, at the gorgeous bar, we opted to have dinner in the piano lounge which was bustling and romantic accompanied by beautiful music throughout our evening. We had the amazing cacio e pepe, prepared tableside, and fantastic grilled octopus for starters. The rack of lamb was tender, perfectly medium rare, as ordered, and so delicious with red wine reduction, and, the wild dover sole in lemon sauce, filleted tableside, was superb! We finished the evening off with a to-die-for pear tart which was so so good! We enjoyed our chat with William Burris, Managing Partner, who was on hand to greet all of his customers and made us feel special. This was my third visit to Lucca and each time has been an incredible experience. We feel so fortunate to have such an amazing dining experience so close to home.

Experiencing Ristorante Lucca and Piano Lounge is like traveling back in time. A beautiful venue with an elegant bar with a cocktail lounge and stage. The musicians and singer performed all night. So talented and adapt at any request from the patrons. The adjacent dining room offered a fire place, spacious comfortable seating and a violin player to entertain the diners. The menu offerings were not the usual fare. Varied and well presented most of which required the attentive wait staff to prepare at the tables. The owner and every staff member were so welcoming and accommodating. They made it a night to remember. Like the way dining out used to be years ago. Well done, Ristorante Lucca!

We went to this establishment for Valentine’s Day and we were quite disappointed and underwhelmed. Half of the reason why we wanted to go was to listen to the live music, but upon arrival, we were told the lounge was booked. When we made the reservation, there was no option to specifically request where to be seated, and the website didn’t give an indication that there were multiple dining rooms, so we assumed we would be able to enjoy the music. There was a violinist in our dining room, but the music selection was odd (eye of the tiger, break up songs). Our waiter gave us the cocktail and wine menu when we sat down and then disappeared for almost an hour. We were seated at 8:20 and our meal order was taken at 9:15. During that time, we had to ask a different waiter for bread. Unacceptable. We advised our waiter that I am vegetarian, and he returned with a gluten free menu. Not the same. The food was just OK, although overpriced and small portions. Throughout our time there, other waiters were rolling around dessert and table side service carts and continuously were bumping the carts into my chair, asking me to move in when I couldn’t. We ended up having to move the table a few inches to make room, which was embarrassing. The dining room was entirely overbooked and overcrowded. We got the bill and noticed we were charged $20 for water which was appalling. I guess they charge for water here and they charged us for 2 bottles when we only used 1. We also never requested a special bottle of water in the first place. We asked for still water, which is usually free at any other restaurant. When we finished dinner, the live music had concluded so we were never able to enjoy it. We might give this place a second chance on a different day, but we left very disappointed.

Good morning, can you please tell me the name on the reservation as Open Table has no registry for last evening for "Samantha". Once I get the information, I will get back to you. Thank you, William Burris, Managing Partner, Ristorante Lucca

The ambiance was outstanding. For what we paid for dinner, there are other establishment with the same quality of food and around the same price. We look for a wow factor when dining in this price range and thought Lucca fell a little short of having a wow factor.
