   We had a really enjoyable time at Risby Cove it had a beautiful atmosphere and the food was delicious. Very friendly staff and felt festive on Christmas eve. I had the pork belly which was cooked to perfection with perfect crackle and a stunning pinot gris to accompany it. We had our 3 year old with us (luckily he is a seasoned traveller so well behaved in restaurants). Even he ate all his dinner of nuggets and chips.

   We enjoyed the lovely view here and non-intrusive staff, however, that was the most expensive bruschetta we’ve ever had anywhere. Not sure why it’s priced so high @ $17 for two pieces of toast, topped w tomatoes and a drizzle of olive oil. Hmm…

   Lovely restaurant, very nice food with a smaller menu but meals were full of flavour and well thought out, staff were friendly, would definitely go back again!

   Risby Cove is a superb little restaurant. Good choice of menu and friendly stsff. The food was delicious.

   Very simple menu but all our meals were very enjoyable. Service was fine. We were there about sunset but could not really see the view as the sun was setting over the water.

   We have the salmon and carrots. Both were good. Nice crispy skin on the salmon and perfectly cooked. Service was very fast.

   Worst meal we’ve had in Tassie, by far. Seafood tagliatelle was just awful - tasteless, prawns tasted like they came from Vietnam, zero seasoning, sauce was just like milk, needed a heap of salt just to make it edible. Should have sent it all back in hindsight. The meals at the train station in Queenstown were 200% better and a quarter of the price. Avoid!
