Located in Greenville’s Historic West End district, Rick Erwin’s West End Grille is a traditional American steak and seafood house that takes fine dining to new levels. With a stylish bar, cozy wine cellar, and inviting dining room bathed in rich, dark woods, West End Grille boasts an atmosphere infused with ambiance and complemented by an extensive contemporary menu and fine wine list. At the same time, intimate and striking, sophisticated and comfortable. A private glass-encased dining room seats 24 and is adjacent to an elegant wine cellar with a vast selection of fine wines. Next door to the restaurant is a private 2,500 square-foot private dining room available for larger private dinners and special occassions.     The food and service were top notch! The owner Rick even passed by our table to introduce himself and ask us how our meal was… that’s the Midas touch!!

    First time guest. Loved the valet service. Wait staff were impeccable. Unobtrusive but knowledgeable. Food was plentiful and excellent. Eager to try the other Rick Erwin locations now.

    This was the first stop of a family weekend in Greenville. After checking the website we settled on dinner at Rick Erwin’s. We were very disappointed in the experience. Unfortunately we will not return.

    Amazing!!!!! Our waiter Kevin made the night with his enthusiasm and willingness to go above and beyond. The food was also perfection per usual! Love love love!!

    Our meal was phenomenal! We have eaten steaks in high end steak houses all over the world. This was at the top. Our waiter, Abduhline(sp?), was friendly and attentive. The manager, Sebastian, is doing an excellent job! Will return soon.

    This meal was one of the best meals we have ever had. Arynton was our waiter and he was fantastic. The Tuna Tataki for an appetizer was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and had the best crust and the Au gratin potatoes were outstanding. It was all together the best meal we have had in a really long time and just a great experience.

    Rick Erwin's feels like everything a restaurant aspired to be in 1992. The setting is traditional though not dated, with good lighting and music that's perfectly unnoticed. The servers wears white jackets and are attentive at all the right times. But the menu is as boring as it gets. All the usual suspects are present, and in the same exact presentation you first saw 40 years ago. On top of that, the food is bland and the quality is middling, only a bit better than a big chain steakhouse. To finish the meal off, expect to pay dearly for the experience. Rick Erwin's is right there with the most expensive restaurants in the area. I wouldn't recommend it at half the price.

    We had a fabulous meal (oysters, salmon entree, she-crab soup, wedge salad), and excellent service from Kevin. Mr. Erwin came by our table to introduce himself and make certain we were happy with our experience. We appreciated his kind words. Highly recommend!
