   February's menu was exceptional. Standouts for me was the oxtail dumpling soup and the candy cap wild mushroom ice cream. Service was friendly, thoughtful and efficient.

   We always look forward to returning to Restaurant Gish. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. Creative and delicious menus. We love hearing about how their creations relate to some traditional Korean dishes.

   Absolutely amazing food!! Unique, intimate dining experience where the chefs preparing your food serve you and explain their inspiration. I am so happy to have discovered this gem of a restaurant in Santa Clara.

   Food is so so. For people with average appetite, won’t be enough food. Some pickled veggies are too sour. Second course of Beef cheek and oxtail turned out to be as fillings of 3 Korean dumplings. Can’t really tell they were oxtails or cheeks. Service is good. Attentive and polite servers.

   We always love coming to Gish! They never disappoint. The start of this month’s menu was definitely the mushroom ice cream. So interesting and yummy!

   As a Korean, visiting Gish Restaurant was a highly satisfying experience that exceeded my expectations. This place does not simply serve Korean cuisine; rather, it reinvents it creatively with a new menu every month. The fact that the menu changes monthly ensures that each visit offers a fresh and exciting experience. The unique combinations and innovative ideas behind the dishes provided a special experience that is not easily found elsewhere. Moreover, the customer service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing detailed explanations about each dish, which made it easier to enjoy even unfamiliar flavors. Particularly, as a Korean dining with an American companion, we were both impressed by how well the menu catered to our different palates. The modern reinterpretation of traditional Korean elements felt both familiar and refreshing to me, while it introduced my companion to a new and exciting side of Korean cuisine. Above all, this is not just a place for a one-time visit; it is somewhere I would love to return to every month. The anticipation of discovering a new menu each time makes it all the more appealing. Personally, I plan to visit regularly. Additionally, Gish is an excellent choice for both date nights and family dining. The ambiance is cozy yet sophisticated, and the presence of a nearby parking lot makes accessibility hassle-free, which further enhances the overall experience. While the dining time is limited to two hours, this duration is more than sufficient to fully appreciate the flavors and service. In fact, it allows for a relaxed and immersive dining experience, where one can truly savor the uniqueness of Gish’s creations. Another highlight was the wine pairing that complemented the Korean dishes beautifully. The selection appeared to be carefully curated, and the balance between the food and wine was remarkable.
