   We went for Christmas dinner but it was pretty abismal. Staff looked knackered, plates and glasses everywhere. Food was just ok at best but really the bare minimum. Some Jacob’s crackers and some hacked up cheeses on the side to help yourself. No one greets on arrival, no free drink offered even though it’s part of the set meal. Had to get my first two drink myself because no one was coming to our table. The list goes on. Just don’t do it if you can’t handle the work.

   Early 4pm table, we were the only diners which was to be expected on a dark wet Monday afternoon. Chap serving us was lovely, very attentive, very polite, good choice of music, 3 courses all eaten & very much enjoyed, lovely wine & all for £84. Many thanks to our server & the chef .

   Lovely friendly staff, we had a lovely window seat. The service was very quick, considering there were 7 of us with lots of different choices of food. Great with the children too
