   Six of us dined here before a theater production. Our waiter was kind, our food was good. The ambience was pleasing. Everything was quite expedient. No complaints, only compliments.

   Everything was perfect from the moment we sat down. Cocktails were perfectly balanced, the food was delicious, the service was spot on, and the restaurant ambiance was great!

   My wife and I live in Franklin and the restaurant is close by. We were very disappointed in our experience. My wife’s selection was so salty. She could not eat it. My choice was average. I had made my reservation via OpenTable : asked if we were celebrating any event And in fact we were. It was my wife’s birthday. I don’t know why this question is asked because there is no recognition of such. That’s OK, but would be so easy to at least say happy birthday. But that did not occur. Bread is not served with the entrées And it should be given the pricing structure but halfway through the meal we asked for bread and of course, the only option is a bread appetizer, which is a lot of bread. But it didn’t show up until we had finished our dinner. We told the waiter we were not interested in having the bread since it came after we had finished the meal. This did not seem to be of any concern. The overall atmosphere of a warm and friendly customer service culture just did not exist. So disappointed.

   Celebrating a couple of birthdays and Red Pony is the perfect place to do that. Classy ambiance, delicious food, top notch service. We love the seasonally changing menu. Always a wide selection, but a smaller menu. The food last evening was both delish and beautifully presented. I had the special which was Tile Fish. Wow!! The shrimp and grits are a new spin on a traditional southern dish. The beet salad was wonderful with new flavors. Highly recommended by this household. Our favorite restaurant that can out cook any restaurant in Nashville!

    This was our first time on the main level. I prefer the second floor because it’s much easier to have a conversation. The food for me is the best in Franklin. We both had Surf and Turf. The Filet was perfectly cooked and the shrimp and grits were fantastic. My only negative is the dish is served in a bowl and it’s very full, making cutting the steak awkward. Our server,Madj (sp?) was fantastic. We will be certain to ask for him on our next visit.
