I had the 🐠 fish and chips with fries and it was delicious, very nice atmosphere, nice and quiet, food was good and came out fast

A straw was lying on the floor in the aisle between my table and the folks across from me and remained there until I picked it up after fifteen minutes because no employee would pick it up. The biscuits, oysters on the half shell, regular salad and white sangria that I had were fine. My wife had a Ceasar salad, a margarita, twelve skewered shrimp and rice as her meal, and that was fine. When the server delivered our main course, he did not take away all of the dirty appetizer and salad dishes, which were empty, so that we could have more room at the table. When he returned a second time, we asked him to do so, which he did promptly. I had a new menu item, which was the stuffed flounder topped with lobster. It was supposed to be smothered with lobster pieces, as was shown in the photo and described on the menu, which is why I ordered it. The piece of flounder, to me, was small, and the lobster pieces consisted of two very small pieces. I was very disappointed. The meal, however, was delicious. Although I might return to the Red Lobster in Port Charlotte, FL again, I will be more vocal in my dissatisfaction.

they DID NOT honor my OPEN TABLE reservation. Claimed I had to call in an hour ahead of time time to reserve...thus we did not go...that was the poorest service I have ever had with an OPen Table ...in addition the person answering the phone when we called to confirm was extremely rude and quote" Lady, I do not believe you are listening to me, We do not take reservations"...although you had confirmed this reservation via your website...help help help.

All of us ordered a shrimp variation and were very happy with our choices. I had a $14.99 shrimp scampi dinner that came with a salad and a side, as well as dessert. Great value. I got about 16 shrimp. I upgraded my dessert to get key lime pie. I think that was about $2.29 extra. I had leftovers and thoroughly enjoyed them the next day. Not sure why Red Lobster doesn't always get good ratings. I know some of the dishes were expensive, but it seems their shrimp dishes are very well priced. One thing that's confusing is similar options at all different prices. It was hard to make a final choice.
