The Ratskeller is a historic cellar restaurant that sees itself as a provider of upscale Bavarian cuisine. The restaurant consists of four different concepts: the main restaurant, the Franconian-Baden wine tavern, Jean-Claude´s Bistro and the Royal Dolores Bar & Pub.     Beautiful historic restaurant but service was slow. It took almost 40 min for us to get drinks and then another 30 for food to arrive. Be aware that bottled water is $8-9

    This was our first food stop after arriving in Munich. It did not disappoint. Be sure to get the Weisswurst. Great atmosphere.

    Perhaps with high expectations due to the place where is located but the experience was not so good. Quality-price relation very low and very disappointing service. Good environment though.

    Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for traditional Bavarian. The food was nice but the service very slow. Waited nearly an hour for food to arrive.

    Having visited the Rathskeller on two occasions I would have no hesitation in recommending it. Food and service were excellent. Just one bit of advice , make a reservation,
