I have been the customer of Rani since its inception. This was the first time I felt the food quality had been not up to the standard. Curry was watery and tasteless, Shrikhand was sour, puri was oily and flat. On a separate note, I found that the buffet menu has never been changed, its monotonous menu for many years. I'm very disappointed.

The food was not spicy at all. We are used to spicy food. In the buffet the starters were good but the curry’s were a bit bland. I was expecting a much better experience.

Went on a night when everything was 25% off which represented excellent value for the all-you-can-day buffet. Usually I would go for a starter with a thali main, but as my preferred main dish was also part of the buffet, it made much more sense to do the buffet option and put together a starter from the plentiful options.

We chose the buffet option. There was a large choice of foods which were perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. The desserts were not interesting at all, but many people chose the ice cream. Service was very friendly and efficient.

Fantastic buffet with a great chioce of vegetarian Indian food. Interesting choice of the addition of an ice cream machine! My only 'complaint' is that the buffet is so good that we rarely experienced the main menu. Saw a dosa coming out though and it looked amazing!

Think is the tastiest food we have ever eaten out, so nice . The food is different from the usual currys we have out, the tikka paneer was a revelation. The dip was with the mixed bhaji starter was really moorish, ended up finishing it with a spoonful straight in the mouth. Really nice that everything on menu was vegetarian. Chilli garlic mushrooms were also a great taste. Only problem was our eyes were bigger than our bellies. Can't wait to go back again.
