This was a very sad occasion! Our Grandfather had been the publican for ovver 50 years and our father had been born in the Railway Tavern exactly 100 years ago, to the day. NO FOOD! No celebration! the pub was in the process of being cleaned, the toilets were terrible, Saddened, we went over the road to what had once been the Green Man! How could we recommend the Raillway Tavern to anyone, let alone a friend!
