    Interesting venue. Excellent Mexican food. Very busy, so get reservations. It’s in the Lafayette Hotel with a great bar scene and a separate bar and music venue.

    Waited an hour for a reservation and then they tried to sit us at a table they moved by the door. I said we don’t want to sit there and the host just said sorry so we walked out. Terrible service and couldn’t believe the manager never came and said anything. Will not be trying to go back and pay for over priced small dishes

    Noise level (ambient music) was very loud and distracting. Table was tiny, a bistro sized table barely fit three small entrees; we didn't order a large meal. It was so dark we couldn't read the menus without a flashlight (we used out phones possibly distracting neighboring patrons) Service was WONDERFUL! Tommy our server was so informative and gave us so much information about the chef and menu!!

    The interior design of the restaurant and the Lafayette Hotel is beautiful. The restaurant was very busy on a Tuesday night which made for slightly slow service, but the waitress was very nice and knowledgeable. The food was excellent. The crab doughnuts, beet salad, shrimp tacos, artichoke blossoms and duck appetizers were all inventive and delicious. The whole branzino entree easily fed two people and was wonderfully flavored.

    Food was outstanding but service was terrible. Once we were sat, we didn’t see a server for 15 minutes. She wasn’t too knowledgeable about the menu and seemed disinterested. A bummer because it was our first time and we were excited to be there for my husband’s birthday. We weren’t asked about a second round of drinks or food either. Even though we were celebrating a birthday, we didn’t receive any small dessert or token from the restaurant except by the hostess who saw the note in our reservation.

    Good food and good ambiance. Some of the dishes were a little heavy on the salt but not in bearable. Would go back again !!
