   Loved the ambience. It has a DC vibe. The cold brew martini was delicious! I also tried their chocolate martini. I prefer it with vodka but they use tequila, and it wasn’t chocolatey enough for me. For my dish I had the chicken tacos which had a sauce that complimented it perfectly. Our waitress Mallorie was great, she was very patient with us. Nice place for girls night or date night.

   The server RUSHED us! We ordered small plates and he sent them to the kitchen all at the same time. As a result, EVERY SINGLE item we ordered came out at the same time. This resulted in half of our order sitting on the table getting cold. Additionally, he mumbled and rushed through the explanation of the menu specials and needed to be prompted on certain items. He will need additional training to be sure!

   First time going to Quemar since “Chef Jeff” took over the kitchen AND I was not disappointed. The menu has been modified. Yes, the innovative tacos and burritos are still there, but there has been an addition of salad options, ceviche and multiple steak choices with your choice of style. My Ribeye was served with Chimmichuiri. For the style, service, value and atmosphere, it’s a great place for a date or romantic evening with my wife.

   Mary our server was fantastic. she was great in helping us to customize drinks. The street tacos could use more cilantro, and queso, as well as some shredded lettuce and pico de gallo. I would also recommend some blended tequila and mezcal drinks that are in the lower price range. it is a good flavor blend. Overall very good, and I will come again!

   Everything on the menu is 10/10. The ceviche, loaded carne asada guac, smash burger, and bone in ribeye were all amazing, must get the tres leches cake makes the whole meal. Will be back in the future!

   This was my second time at this restaurant and it did not fail! I came in the other day with somebody who had never been before and they enjoyed it so much that we've decided to make Quemar's our special spot and return monthly for date night. Gentle men out there if you see this do yourselves a favor and take your special lady here!

   The chicken Tinga was delicious! The most tender chicken! The goat cheese and other sauces on the chicken were sooo good! The oysters were fresh and again, the sauces, delish!! Our server, Toni, was deightful! Oh, and the churros along with the caramel gelato were the perfect ending to our meal!
