   Lovely ambience and friendly staff it was a shame about the food as it was poor value for money. Pasta was served in a tiny side dish with a salad made up of iceberg lettuce and 3 sweetcorn’s, the serving of salad was bigger than the main dish itself. For nearly £16 I expected the carbonara to be better quality or at least a reasonable portion when it is cheaply made , the pancetta was really chewy and possibly microwaved . Sad hungry pregnant lady :(

   I have eaten at the Queens Head many times. The food is always excellent with a fantastic menu offering so many options. I always know that the quality and the service will be first class.

   The staff are so friendly and helpful- nothing is too much trouble …. Food was hot and huge portion sizes and very tasty - had a very nice lunch with friends .. would recommend the Queens head for a pub lunch …

   On arrival I noticed the beautiful christmas decorations, which made for a lovely atmosphere. I had the chicken,ham and mushroom pasta dish and my friend had the moroccan nut roast...both dishes were very good, plenty to eat but we managed to find room for desserts, lemon meringue and the cherry pancakes ..these were also great. Service was friendly, and we didnt feel rushed. Would definitely return.

   Quality of food and drink and speed of service was acceptable. However the demeanour of the staff was the worst I’ve experienced in the 25 years I’ve been visiting. There was barely a smile to be seen

   Lovely meal, good surroundings, A bit noisier than usual with Christmas Parties though! Great staff as always. A pleasure to visit.

   Unfortunately I had to wear my coat throughout the meal as it was really cold. The staff, who were lovely, did bring a heater but that didn't work. The restaurant was empty so there wasn't a great deal of atmosphere but it was decorated lovely with christmas trees and lights. My Biscoff cheesecake was fab.

    Busy, and popular. Staff were lovely, couldnt ask for better. Food was average, good enough. We had the carvery. Roast potatoes seemed like frozen ones and yorkshires to.
