    I celebrated my 50th birthday with my family on a very busy holiday season evening. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Although we did wait a bit longer than we anticipated to having a reservation, it wasn’t terribly surprising for the season. From the front door check in to picking up our coats from coat check after our meal, our time at Quality Italian was exceptional. Our server was excellent, and the food was some of the best I’ve had at a restaurant in quite some time. We were served the outstanding filet meatballs on the house, and they were absolutely the best meatballs I’ve ever had in a restaurant. A must order! My daughter and I both ordered the spicy lobster rigatoni a la vodka, and it was to die for. We’re still talking about it! My husband and other daughter had the daily special fusilli with filet ragu, and it was also outstanding. We were served the gnocchi entree to share, also on the house. It was delicious as well. I will remember this meal for a long time, and Quality Italian will be on my NYC list of “must go to restaurants” to return to and to recommend to anyone who asks where they should eat when they visit. We will definitely return. Thank you for making my birthday celebration one to remember!

    Was in NY for a girls get away and we wanted to have some good Italian food and QI did not disappoint! We were lucky to get a reservation on a Friday night, waited about 15 mins for table but the food was worth it. We shared a salad and two pasta dishes and I will be dreaming of this pasta forever. The fusilli special was beyond amazing. The first bite was heaven in my mouth. And the Cacio Pepe was just as amazing and truffle topping top notch. Can’t wait to come back again! My only complaint was the music playing, didn’t really suit the vibe of the restaurant, would have enjoyed better music selection overall but the whole vibe of the restaurant was good minus music.

    Great food. Great location for a pre-Carnegie Hall meal. Only downside: the music, the volume - made it virtually impossible to have a conversation. Yeah, I’m old school. Like to have a conversation and not look at the while dining with my spouse. If a dining experience includes conversation there are other options I’m sure.

    Leslie was the best. Absolutely order oysters, spicy lobster vodka pasta, and the cacio e pepe. Don't ask for the menu go with that. Cesar is not the usual recipe in most places but we liked it and would order again. Always crowded so make reservation.

    Understaffed for sure, the entire dinner there was a tray full of dirty plates/dishes next to our table that the staff kept piling food on top of. Food was good but was overshadowed by the atmosphere and underwhelming service
