Purple Café and Wine Bar pairs a global wine selection with a menu that combines classic American styles with seasonal Northwest ingredients.

We feature an expansive menu ranging from artisan cheeses, starters, soups, salads, sandwiches and pizzas to pasta and seafood. We take a great deal of pride in utilizing the most fresh and local ingredients.

On the wine side of things our wine list features over 80 glass and 600 bottle selections. Over the years our wine program has been recognized with various accolades that include an "Award of Ultimate Distinction" from Wine Enthusiast Magazine and being named "Best Wine Bar" by Evening Magazine's Best of Western Washington Viewers Poll.

    Dinner is always fabulous here. Three of four of them had the Short Ribs, and they were delicious! Along with the short ribs, we had Ceasar Salad, and I love the dressing and the bit of mix to the romaine. Dinner is always great here. We also love that the menu has limited items, so we know everything they make is going to be excellent.

    Purple is always a favorite. This was however, my first visit with a child. My granddaughter is 4 and the kids menu offered a great selection. Everything was perfect.

    Fun experience! We had an excellent waitress (Ana) and the support staff was also excellent. We had our 14 month old grandson and the staff was very accommodating to him. Food was excellent and the wine choices over the top! We will go there again next trip.

    Absolutely the best meal we had in Seattle. Food was amazing and loved that for the suggested wines you could just get half a glass. We did a half glasses with the appetizer then full glasses with dinner

    The team and food were perfect for lunch with a colleague and friend. We enjoy the friendliness of the staff (Claudia was great!), food was tasty (grilled cheese, soup and salad 1 yummy!) and ambience. So glad Purple has been around 20 years and going strong!

    As usual it was excellent. However it could have been warmer in there. Had to wear my coat the entire meal.

    Excellent, friendly, and attentive service with delicious food. Sat upstairs and it felt a little more quiet compared to previous times when seated downstairs. Will definitely be back!
