   We have eaten at Puesto many times in San Diego & northern California. Though very pricey, I've always enjoyed their tacos. At $10-$12 each, I begin to question the value of the meal. The biggest disappointment was how they made their tacos. They had always used two tortillas with a cheese skirt between the tacos. This added texture & flavor to the food. Our tacos were made with just 1 tortillas, no cheese taste. The tortillas were all blue corn. Before they were blue & yellow corn. I guess I was disappointed because I went there intentionally based on my past experiences.

   Every staff person was friendly. Service was frequent. Food was good and came quickly. Waiter went the extra mile more than once for our party of 10 - we were celebrating a birthday and not everyone was able to arrive at the same time !!

   Food was excellent! The 6 in our party each had something different and each loved their dish. The one disappointment, no blended margaritas.

   The food never disappoints at Puesto! After a small delay at check-in (our table was not ready even though we had a reservation), our server was attentive and helpful. Will be back!

    We have been here 3 times over the course of 5 years. Everytime we travel to San Diego we’d come here for a great meal. This last time our meal and service made us decide we’d never come back again. Our waiter was very spaced. Served our meals (5 of us) at different time, forgot the kids guacamole when asked for it 3 times. Brought us ceviche without any chips. When asked for the chips took 10 minutes to bring us some. Potato taquitos were delicious though. Us travelers will not be back there.
