A little history… Have you ever walked into a place, and you instantly feel at home? Well, Puckett's Grocery and Restaurant is that sort of place. Founded in the 1950s, Puckett's served as a country store to several communities in Williamson County. It has always been the place to buy some food, grab a good homemade sandwich and catch up on the day's events in the world and at home. In 2004, Puckett's opened in Historic Downtown Franklin, and now in 2010, Downtown Nashville as well. Southern breakfasts with local, organic eggs, award winning burgers, plate lunches,fresh salads, cherry wood smoked BBQ pulled pork and ribs, and homemade desserts, make every meal memorable. Add live entertainment from some of Nashville's greatest artists and songwriters and you have the complete Puckett's experience!                                                                       We celebrate New Year’s Eve at Puckett’s nearly every year for the past 13 years! We really enjoy the neighborhood feel and lively atmosphere. But we missed the usual New Year’s party hats, horns etc. this year! The new menu items are great. Y’all weren’t as busy this year and our waiter didn’t stop by often or refill waters. Overall we had a lovely night. Of course Brothers Maven are fantastic, the real deal and we felt so fortunate to see them. We were charged $60 cover ( on top of dinner & drinks) but other guests sitting nearby were not charged the cover? And we shared our table with strangers because we didn’t want to take a 4 top (we were 2 and happily offered our 2 xtra seats to the manager). However tables all around us we not full. A 6 top had 2 guests, most 4 tops had 2 guests.

He was on top of our orders, always on top of refilling our drinks, noticed whenever we needed anything. He was friendly yet professional! Give him a raise! A keeper for sure!

                                                                      Locating the restaurant using Google Maps was challenging due to street closures. The app kept directing us in a continuous loop. We called the restaurant for help and were advised to input the 4th Street parking garage into our GPS. The restaurant is located directly across the street from the garage. Following those directions, we were able to find the restaurant without any further issues.

                                                                      The service was good but slow. It was busy though and the bar was backed up. They were out of many of our favorite items including fried chicken. Bad timing I guess.
