As the name suggests, P.S. Steak was established to continue the story of the historic space that was once famed La Belle Vie. As Chef Mike DeCamp spent 10 years at the former French restaurant, this will be his homecoming and opportunity to write his own chapter for the space. P.S. Steak disrupts the perceptions of a typical steakhouse while honoring the legacy of one of the great culinary foundations in the Twin Cities.
The restaurant features an elevated yet accessible seasonal menu, along with a variety of cuts of meat, dry aged in a display case.
The lounge has been given a modern makeover with chic furniture and marble table tops. A selection of living floor plants divides tables to create intimate seating. Bringing warmth to the room, the bar and adjacent fireplace keeps guests cozied up to a menu of progressive cocktails.

    My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and they delivered. It was a perfect evening in every way. Our steaks were out of this world, sides and salads could not have been better. Charming 1929 atmosphere that was so cozy and great service from Danika. Plus the sweetest handwritten anniversary card greeted us at our table. It was a night we will never forget, thank you!!!! Pro tip-go early or stay later for a drink in the bar. A whole nother super charming area you will want to explore.

    Too expensive for the quality of food. $17 for a mixed drink that was served in a shallow champagne glass with no ice. No ice in the water. Salad did not look fresh. Steaks are ridiculously expensive. Very noisy. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this restaurant.

    Fantastic service from Tanya! We were there for the La Belle Vie Menu. The Papardelle was amazing and I can't stop thinking about the truffle honey on the cheese board. Thank you for the excellent hospitality!

    This place makes you feel like you’re in a mafia film. The food, as expected, is rich and filling. The service is executed by pros so it’s never going to disappoint. The bill is usually covered by an expense account, so what’s not to love. I’d come even if it wasn’t.

    Excellent again! Restaurant week, nice selection on menu. Service fabulous, quiet enough to talk, love the hot fudge ice cream sundae for dessert.

    Service was awesome. The steak Anna lamb chops were delicious. The ambiance was norm, nothing spectacular. Only reason I gave it a 4.
