    Service was OK ,slow. food was warm at best. Ambience was good restaurant was clean. I probably wouldn’t recommend to my friends though.

    My wife had the fish stew and I had the bone in cowboy ribeye It might be the best meal I’ve ever had.  Our waiter Daniel was excellent and the ambience with all the plants and decor was just what we like. We will definitely be back

    We had the best time at Proper Grit. Shannon, our server, made our party of 10 feel so special and made a huge effort to make sure we had a great time. We will absolutely be back!

    Great experience, 2nd time at Proper Grit and this was even better than the first. Shyla, our server, was fantastic! So friendly, so attentive, and timely checkups on how we were doing, no ill timed interruptions like are so common elsewhere. Food was delicious and well prepared, very flavorful. Atmosphere here is amazing as well. Highly recommend for any occasion.

    Beautiful setting. Food was very good. When I received my check the amount was accurate, but when the waitress came back with my CC receipt the amount had been changed. I carefully looked at every line item and realized they had added a third appetizer, I immediately brought it to the waitress’ attention. They fixed it but left the restaurant with mixed feelings about this issue.

    The restaurant was empty but the food took over an hour to come out. When it did come out, it was cold. Drinks were good and apps decent.

    First time at the Ben and Proper Grit ; great experience over all. Beautiful entrance , restaurant on ground floor. Great view of skating rink. Very welcoming, great service, limited menu but every choice we made was superb. Seasonings exceptional. Relax atmosphere. After dinner we took elevator to roof top . Another lovely bar and eatery .
