Dined here with my Wife last night for Valentine’s Day. Key points: - They were not busy, which I see as a positive. A little telling, though, for 7:30 PM on valentine’s. - I’m not usually picky about this, but the food was too salty. Especially the greens. The catfish & crawfish etoufee was tasty but still too salty. Grits were a great texture and the only saving grace from the otherwise saltiness of my plate. - Sweet Tea cocktail was nice. - The cornbread was awful. - They didn’t bring out our appetizer. Ended up cancelling it halfway through our entree. Overall, we were disappointed. I don’t often leave bad reviews or even mid reviews. The atmosphere and ambiance were nice enough. Still can’t give this place more than 2 stars in good conscience. Hope this place can rebound and hire some help. Food: 2/5 | Service: 2/5 | Atmosphere: 3/5

I took my daughter here for lunch just to try something new. We truly enjoyed our dining experience! Drinks were absolutely on point, I had a strawberry mojito that was strong and delicious! Good was soooooo good and tasted like it came straight outta grandmas kitcten! Flavorful, large portions, we will definitely be back!

Well my experience at this restaurant was a 10/10 the service was wonderful. The food was amazing. The customer service was great. I actually got to speak with the owner. She’s such a vibe and the drinks were really good. They do have some signature cocktails that I recommend you guys try it and the one I tried was called golden tequila. dream and is made with Anejo tequila and it was very delicious.

I’m so proud of the team at Pretty Soul Kitchen. I’ve watch them grow this business over the years and it’s been a privilege to witness. I dined today with some of my NAACP leaders and we were so pleased. Everything was delicious. The portions were large and fillings. Outstanding value for the amount of food you get. I’m sending more people here because this restaurant is really good.

Every dish is amazing! We always order the Soul rolls! They are a must have! And we have to have a bottle of the home made hot sauce at our table!

The restaurant was small but nice, waitress was nice but could use a little more personality. We had the Soul bowls, and the Catfish was great, greens were a bit salty, mac n cheese was a bit dry wan unusually dark. Yams was $9 additional for a small single serving had an unusual flavor that i couldn't quite place but kind of tasted like Burbon or whiskey in it. I think the pricing was a bit steep for the small bowl portion, but they gave you plenty of corn bread and served our drinks in plastic cups. average cost was around $30 per person.
