Positano immerses our guests in an authentic Italian experience right here in Barbados! Upon entry, guests will be greeted with our signature pizza bar, and can also enjoy handmade pastas and pizzas crafted by our team of talented chefs, blended with hip sounds to further add to the restaurant’s elegantly casual vibe. Positano opens from Tuesdays to Sundays for dinner from 6:30PM - 8:30PM or pop by for our Happy Hour from 5:00PM – 6:00PM. For groups of 5+, please contact us directly for bookings.

Upon arrival it looked a nice place, waitress was lovely and no complaints. The food I thought was very basic, starter was calamari however sold out so it was shrimp not the best and no flavour. Two wines we asked for were also sold out so the waitress recommended another which was okay.. My main was linguine, no flavour just tasted like pepper. Quite disappointed as we were Looking forward to it going off the comments.

We were really hoping on our return visit that the food had improved. However, the flavor just isn't there with everything being underseasoned. Part of the decking was sealed off with yellow tape. Mariott apparently needs more time to bring this up to West Coast standards.

Gazpacho was like Ragu spaghetti sauce Inedible. They didn’t care. Ordered a bottle of Pelegríno. Never appeared but ended up on bill anyway. Waitress going thru the motions not interested in us. Ordered a bottle of wine. They brought another and started to open. I said: the is not the wine I ordered.” They said: I know we don’t have that one so I brought this one. So they knew and began to open without even telling us? They need to fire the whole staff and start over with someone who wants to be there (and an actual chef).

We had a great time here. The staff was very welcoming and a lot of fun. The food was very good and they have some unique desserts. Ask about the tiramisu in a specially made chocolate cup. For those staying at one of the nearby sister resorts that are all-inclusive, you need to make a reservation at Positano's the morning of your dinner and they will provide you with a voucher, don't go without a voucher or you'll need to pay for your meal since the restaurant is also open to the general public.

We had an enjoyable evening, helped by the pleasant staff. However, the time between our courses was a little longer than ideal. That aside the menu could offer somewhat better value as the portions are on the small side. Nevertheless, with good parking this restaurant is a decent option for dinner.
