   We were stupid in not being able to find the restaurant- as its actually in Fenwicks It was busy enough to have a good vibe Service was excellent Food was beyond our expectations! We will be back!!!

   Absolutely love this restaurant - great vibe in the middle of the food hall with an open kitchen that’s excellent for chef watching ! Food is delicious - and especially the steaks and best truffle & Parmesan fries I’ve ever tasted You can choose from both Porterhouse & Saltwater Fish menus which is quite unique in Newcastle Service is excellent and friendly and they have a great wine list

   Superb service provided by extremely knowledgeable Camille who anticipated our every need. Food was very enjoyable especially the calves liver. Standard of dining is very high and always leaves you wanting to return soon. Top notch !

   Best steak I’ve had in Newcastle. The salt chamber aged ribeye was delicious and the steak tartare was fresh and flavourful. Staff were nice and answered any questions I had about the menu and were happy to provide recommendations.

   Unbelievable once again, there is a reason why this is my favourite restaurant in town. Perfect atmosphere, food was amazing as always and service was brilliant once again

   The best Sunday roast I think I have ever eaten. And I have eaten many! Delicious. Beef succulent. My wife had the lamb. Equally good. Perfect service from the lovely staff. I recommend this restaurant. Will definitely be going back. Well done all!!

   Had to wait for table despite booking in advance and first slot of the day. Others arriving later were seated before us. Seated on a small table yet other parties of 2 or even 1 were given bigger tables / more space. Main course arrived over 45 mins after starters, and only after we chased up after we noticed everyone else had been served. Plates hot but food not so clearly been standing for a while. Food good (but lukewarm) and by this point we felt very let down and needed to be elsewhere so we declined offer of free desert as we didn't feel like waiting another 30 minutes for it! Nothing taken off the bill by the manager, which was disappointing. This place is usually great, but for the high price you pay, todays service was not acceptable. Felt totally disorganised. A real letdown and will think twice before we visit again.

   We visited late on a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was busy but service was great. Our starters were excellent and the wine - choice great. We were, however very disappointed with our steaks, my fillet in particular was over cooked and not particularly well seasoned. I’d go so far as to say the worst fillet steak I’ve eaten in a restaurant. I did bring it to the attention of the waitress and she did offer a replacement but by this time I’d eaten a third and didn’t want to cause too much fuss. I’d have expected a reduction in the bill (which was in excess of £200) but there was not. Would I return? Unfortunately not!
