   It was an okay experience. The restaurant vibe was good. The food was average. Very over priced (meal for 2 was $500+ with tip included. We did have 2-3 drinks a piece) They charged $165 a plate. The filet seemed like it was catered food (prepped previously and then heated up when time to serve). Similar with the sides. Dessert was essentially pastries and cookies you can buy at Key Foods. Our service was poor. They switched waiters with us mid meal I guess due to the first waitress had been there all day and was ready to go home. New waiter forgot about us a few times. We didn’t feel as if they cared about our experience. Especially it being Thanksgiving. Frustrating to spend the money on special holiday and it not even coming close to satisfying.

   Thanksgiving dinner was good, not great. Portions enormous, but a bit of quantity over quality. Holiday decorations and ambiance were wonderful. Service ok, but going on TG probably not a fair representation of what they can offer

   Considering the pricing, our expectations were high - the turkey dinner was fair but, the steak dinner was superb! Ambiance and service were fair; overall mixed feelings about the overall experience.

   We came here approximately 5 years after a post-engagement dinner but the experience was so much worse than we remembered. The steak was very good, but the service was awful. We had to ask for bread (despite the server bringing it to every other table around). We even asked for bread and by the time he got to us we already had our food. We were seated by two large families both with screaming quiet kids that ruined the mood and seemed to keep our server busy. We won’t return here unfortunately.

   I love the Porterhouse, their steaks are delicious and cooked exactly the way I asked. I have been here many times and they have never disappointed. Every single dish I have tried has been cooked to perfection and very tasty. I love that they use premium quality ingredients. Their customer service is outstanding!!!. Though quite pricey, they are well worth the money.

   I’ve been a loyal patron of Porter House for years and have always felt welcomed—until this recent visit, which was meant to be a special birthday dinner. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. It started off well with a friendly and welcoming hostess. The bartender, while adequate, seemed distracted or unable to hear me, even though the bar was not busy. This was only the beginning of a string of disappointing service moments. Once we were seated, the server appeared rushed and inattentive. He dropped the menus and immediately asked for our order, leaving us feeling hurried and unable to settle into the experience. As this was my birthday dinner, I was hoping for a relaxing evening but felt constantly rushed. For example, as soon as our salad plates were cleared, our entrées were on the table. My husband and I chose to share both our appetizer and main course, and the restaurant served these on one oversized plate. At a venue of this caliber, I expected the kitchen to separate the portions before serving, sparing us the awkward task of reaching across the table. Another issue was with my wine service. I was the only one drinking, but the server repeatedly poured more wine before I was ready, despite me asking him to stop. This added to the rushed atmosphere and detracted from the enjoyment of the meal. Finally, we declined dessert, and the server dropped the check in a hurried, almost dismissive manner, reminiscent of a casual diner rather than a fine dining establishment. The food was good, but not extraordinary enough to make up for the poor service. What used to be a favorite place of mine now feels tainted by this experience. While I hope this was just an off night for the staff, I’ll be hesitant to return anytime soon. For the price point, I expected far better treatment.

   Lunchtime special excellent value. Only criticism was fries were over done. Steak excellent.
