Very tasty food and friendly staff! Not a lot of choices on the menu but the food was flavorful. Much noisier this time than than I remembered from a couple years ago. Lots of families with small children. It was a happy atmosphere.

The quality of the food has dipped considerably. I don’t know if someone key left or what is going on but it wasn’t up to your usual standards. It wasn’t very good. We had the enchilada suiza , the chicken was tasteless and the sauce was overly hot and flavorless. I was really disappointed. You also need to do something about the noise level.

The food choices were marginal for the dinner menu the service was spotty and the fish tacos were overly seasoned with a lot of salt. I thought with a reservation we would have had a dinner table instead we were seated near the bar in a high table. I thought the prices were excessive it was more of a sports bar quality.

It was a good experience as always. The only area of improvement would be for the server to be more around. He was nice though. And LOVE the chilaquiles!

We happen to live above Poquitos Bothell, and we are so glad that we do. Beyond the obvious convenience, the food is consistently delicious. The quantities are generous. Service is consistently good. When we have out of town visitors, we regularly take them to Poquitos, and when they come back they ask to go again. We appreciate the variety on the menu, and the periodic adds to the menu. Spice level varies across the different dishes. Some are very spicy and some are not spicy at all. The server can help you sort it out if this is a concern.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this place isn’t it. For spending around $80 for two people the amount of food is very underwhelming, and that’s without ordering any alcohol (not that I drink anyways). Even with the small portion of food that you do get will lack flavor. Imagine it like this….an Anglo/Saxon person trying to make Mexican food and charges it for a premium price to other Anglo/Saxon people. But if paying for overpriced tasteless Mexican food is your thing go for it.
