   Lovely food, great atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff. A little pricier than it used to be but then that is the same everywhere now. Only minor downer was that the mushy peas were more runny than I would have liked, but the tasty chips made up for it!

   We were doing a Jack the Ripper Tour which includes Fish and Chips meal before the tour. Food was very good.

   Regular cod and chips at £20 is extortionate ... will not go back you can get same in a good chippy for a tenner

   Best plaice that I have had for a long time. Batter very tasty and plenty of ‘meaty’ fish flesh. Fresh and hot … could not eat all the chips!!

   NEVER AGAIN it's a tourist scam now- payed so much for almost nothing indian waitress threw sweets on us - so unprofessional we made a reservation but they have priortise the non booked customers

   Ordered a large portion of chips but there weren’t many chips on my plate. The chips that were there were lovely though and so was the fish. I wanted large Cod but it was unavailable (as it was on my previous visit too) - settled for large Haddock which was lovely. Was sat right underneath a speaker and found the music a touch too loud and we all had to shout at each other to have a conversation.

    Some confusion over booking when we arrived otherwise excellent. We always visit Poppies in Spittalfields when we come to London. Fish and chips always delicious. Crispy batter. Lovely chips. Mushy peas really good. Very quick service
