   Service was not the greatest and the food was terrible. Not much flavor and even the texture was off. Other places nearby have been excellent. Will not be returning

   Lexy was fantastic! Overall everything was good, but Lexy was a bright spot in the evening. We enjoyed the conversation and service she provided. Thank you!

   We dined off season (October)on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was pretty slow. The Host greeted us right away, friendly, big smile and kind. I ALWAYS appreciate a good greeting. Our server was also friendly and observant. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and then put in our entree order. We loved our boiled shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was a nice size and tasted fresh. Our server always asked how we were doing as she passed by. We loved the grilled grouper sandwich, and the blackened fish tacos. Overall, a great experience and great food. (There was a small delay with our entree, but our server was on it, apologized and went out of her way to right the situation, which is professional and appreciated.) Pompano Joe’s is a reliable and consistent restaurant. We really enjoyed sitting outside for a 7:00 dinner. The outdoor dining is really nice especially this time of year. The decor and lighting outside makes it a great beachy feel. Thanks for a great experience.

   The drink selection was limited and watered down. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. It was so chewy we couldn’t eat most of it. The server was very rushed as if he had a packed section. The restaurant was not even half full. We ended up not ordering my entrees, paid and left for another restaurant.

   Service was really slow even though there were at least six servers standing around the bar chatting. The food came out cold and was very bland. The broiled scallops were super greasy, not sure why if they were broiled. We spent $100 for two meals. For the quality and service we won’t be returning.

   The location is great. Outside seating is best for a view of the Gulf of Mexico. The food is average but good.

   I think I had very high expectations because many friends had spoken highly of this restaurant. However, I didn't find anything special about the food or the overall experience. It was just good. I don't know if I'll ever go back.

    Shelby, out server, was fantastic. Food was excellent, a little pricey for some dishes compared to other restaurants, but overall a great experience!
