   1st time eating here. Had the crab cakes as an appetizer. There were two silver dollar sized cakes which were good but small. The Caesar salad was very good. The Baja taco were not as good. Very minimal amount of blackened fish and way too much raw cabbage. The restaurant itself is really nice and open. Service was ok, but there was a large party she having to tend to as well. Overall not impressed but it has promise.

   Had so wanted to be able to rave about this restaurant because it’s lovely and in a great location. They were just so understaffed that we waited exactly 1 hour to receive our appetizer of a seafood platter. The shrimp and ceviche were good but they should have been ashamed to serve the minuscule oysters. The redfish was delicious, bacon and shrimp was also good. The blackened catfish was tasty, but the dirty rice was soupy. The three desserts they offered were meh. Reservations were at 6:30. We left at 9 o’clock. Management was informed and seemingly could care less. Sadly will not return.

   Our waiter was amazing along with the bar staff as we had a drink there before going to our table. Our table had the flank steak, fish and chips, shrimp pasta and fried shrimp and all were amazing! We will definitely go back.

   Good food, atmosphere and decor were cute. Drinks were just ok but can’t beat the $1 oysters on coastal hours!

   Amazing experience and food was wonderful. The hostess was so attentive in noticing that I had listed allergies on my open table profile and immediately made sure that was communicated, and our waiter was wonderful. Definitely recommend the calamari and bacon wrapped shrimp.

    Two ladies and I went to dinner last evening at plank. For some reason, there were only about a half dozen other customers in the large restaurant. This usually means beware to me. But, the food and service with Crystal were both very good. Crystal knew the menu and was great for making suggestions. I had the redfish dinner plate and it was cooked very nicely. The fish was excellent and presented over some greens and sliced small potatoes. Overall the taste was delicious. I have one complaint about my meal, as did my two friends with theirs. We left hungry. My plate could easily have had twice the fish portion and more veggies. I am not a big eater, but the portion size for all of us last night was entirely too small. The $300 bill that this cost was very poor value in terms of the small size of our meals. I would have to think twice before returning to Plank Provisions for this reason. What a shame because we all liked our meals, but to leave a restaurant hungry, is simply not a good memory of a restaurant. Hopefully, Plank management will take this review seriously and not send home hungry diners.
