From Umbria to the homes of Carefree, Pizzicata brings our family’s recipes and an enthusiasm rooted in sharing Italiano cuisine with Arizona and the world.
We are proud to be the first pinseria in Arizona.

What is Pinsa?
Long before the days of pizza, Pinsa was introduced and crafted by the Romans using wheat, soy and rice flours as the main ingredients in the dough. The resulting Pinsa contained less gluten, less carbs and less fat while maintaining a crispy yet light crust when baked therefore making it more digestible yet still delizioso.

    We have been big fans of Pizzicata since they opened. Still a fan, but would like to see a little more ‘effort’ in the small details: Caesar salad was just chopped lettuce with dressing and anchovies on the side. * anchovies were requested on the side. But still, a little more effort would be noticed. Bolognese lasagna has always been amazing… (pasta is perfect, sauce is tasty)… just missing the meat. I was looking forward to the wagyu beef, Iberico pork, and wild boar. While the sauce was good, there was very little, if any meat. Sorry to say anything negative. We love this place, and will continue to frequent… Just a few recommendations. Thanks.

    One of our favorite go to restaurants. We can always count on fantastic food and awesome service. Tyler was our waiter and really went out of his way to make our experience 5 star
