Inspired by the best pizza of New York City and Naples, Italy.

In 2005, Annie and Craig Stoll annexed the space next door to their James Beard Award winning Delfina restaurant fulfilling a long time dream of bringing Neapolitan-inspired pizzas to San Francisco. The 600 square foot space was an instant neighborhood hotspot, and Pizzeria Delfina became the ""darling of the San Francisco food scene"" opening a second location in 2008 to popular demand.

In 2014, Annie and Craig expanded into the Peninsula with Pizzeria Delfina in Palo Alto.

This energetic, farmers-to-table restaurant serves up Neapolitan-inspired pizza complemented by a daily-changing roster of seasonal antipasti, piatti (small entrees), beer, wine and more. A family-owned business, Pizzeria Delfina is a neighborhood establishment through and through that continues to bring people together around fresh, handmade, delicious food in a warm, casual atmosphere.

    The buffalo mozzarella pizza is a MUST. The salsiccia is also a favorite of ours. Pizzaria Delfina has the most charming outdoor patio. Their space is perfect for large or small groups. One thing we noticed while leaving was that they have a few cozy firepits that you can sit at instead of a formal dining table and I wish we had sat there!! We definitely want to go back and try it out. The seats looked so cozy and the firepit dining would be such a unique experience.

    The salads were. very good. Liked the breadsticks on the table when we sat down. Pizza was fine; nothing special. Don't really like the big blobs of cheese rather than more evenly spread cheese on a pizza.

    Really enjoyed our experience. We got the pepperoni pie and the provolone with the spices was amazing. Wasn’t a huge fan of the saffron arancini but it was gooey and delicious just the same. Our server was amazing and the place looked cozy and busy.

    The food and service were amazing and the outdoor seating area was beautiful. Only setback was we saw rats in the vines throughout dining. While wildlife cannot be fully controlled, keeping up with pest control to limit this is ideal.

    Consistently great food and service! Love the GF pizza. Meatballs and Arancini are comfort food go-to’s, and the cocktails are delicious. Great place for a group to share a meal and celebrate.
