   Great food and exceptional service. A unique dining experience. We even got a free dessert because it was our anniversary. I highly recommend this place.

   Excellent food, service and ambiance. Highly recommend eating here and staying at their hotel which is in the building. Overall just a terrific experience!

   We loved the food but it felt like every little shift or change we were charged … such as drizzle on the cheesecake? Seems a bit much to pay dollars to add a line on top of it. We would have rather not had to pay a couple of dollars for the random things here and there. Servers should be upfront about the suggestions they verbally make to customers and how it will cost extra. Don’t make it like it’s an included option for a meal or dessert. It was incredibly frustrating. Kinda felt like a weird tourist trap instead of a family owned place.

   Noah was our waiter and he was soooo friendly and had a great personality. Excellent service! The food was delicious. We started with the pretzel and moved on to schnitzel and the short rib goulash. We will be going back. Glad to see Waco stepping up their food game.

   First visit to Pivovar. Had a couple appetizers and then some of our group enjoyed the goulash and pork shank. My husband and I both ordered the paprika chicken over pasta - it wasn’t very good at all. Odd tasting and was lukewarm. Definitely wouldn’t order that dish again! We did like the apple crisp with ice cream that we shared for dessert. The place wasn’t very busy at all. Not sure we will return.

   This was our first visit and we will be back! Had the pretzel for appetizer 2 people ordered the 3 sausage with sauerkraut meal (best sauerkraut I’ve tasted in many years). I had the salmon Barley Risotto, also very good. I asked for some of the glaze that was on a different salmon dish and it was delicious. I liked the dark lager true description- not heavy for a dark beer. My husband had the Vienna lager also very good. We shared the wine flight and it was mostly on the sweeter side only the red was dry, I liked them all but in case you aren’t into sweet wines I wouldn’t recommend this flight. We already made a list of what we will try next !
