  • Neighbourhood gem
  • Good for special occasions
  • Great for creative cocktails
In February 2020, Pisac Peruvian Bistro opened its doors, striving to explode its colourful and authentic flavours to central Toronto. Its cozy and rustic atmosphere is the perfect place to savour a taste of Peru with a ceviche and pisco sour to escape.

At Pisac Bistro, we showcase authentic Peruvian cuisine using Peruvian as well as local ingredients. Located in the beautiful neighbourhood of Summerhill, we are a small restaurant dedicated to introducing the gastronomical experience of Peru. The blend of spices and bold piquancy may be new to some that are trying for the first time or may be reminiscent to those who have been to Peru before.

Our goal is to provide a true Peruvian experience intertwined with the passion and excitement of getting to share a slice of our culture with Canadians.

Pisac is probably Toronto's best Peruvian restaurant. This time the ceviche mixto and the parihuela seafood soup were awesome.

This was our second time dining at Pisac. The first was just my wife and I, and this time we took our two adult daughters. We all loved the food and the experience. The establishment is relatively simple, but comfortable and the service is personal and attentive. In fact, our waiter remembered us from our visit 4 months ago, so that was a nice surprise. They don't have a large wine list (for red; one Pinot Noir, one Cab Sav, and one Malbec; I didn't pay attention to the white) but we got a bottle of Malbec and it was quite nice (that being said, we are not the most discerning sommeliers) . At any rate, we didn't come back for the wine, we came back for the food, and it did not disappoint. We had the grilled octypus again and it was, again, amazing - just so nicely charred and cooked. We also had the ceviche again and it was incredible. For our final appetizer we got the deep fried calamari and it was also very good. The portions for all three appetizers were easily generous enough for 4 people to share. For mains we split the flank steak and a plate with assorted deepfried seafood. The flank steak was cooked very nice med-rare and it came with fries and rice and lots of delicious flank steak juice - so good. The assorted deepfried seafood was good but I think at that point we had our fill of deepfried food and we were quite full, so it wasn't as satisfying but that's more a reflectio of what we ordered than how it was prepared or cooked. We will definitely be making this a regular stop for our dinners in Toronto.

I recently visited this amazing family-owned Peruvian restaurant, and I can’t recommend it enough! They’ve moved to a new location, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious—authentic, flavorful, and perfect for lunch or dinner. You can tell they put so much love into everything they serve. It’s definitely worth supporting this local gem!

Excellent food, great flavors and quick delivery as well. The drinks also very good! We had the seafood soup and the black squid risotto, which were delicious and great to pare together. Recommend!
