Located in a restored unused pavilion attached to a small public park, Pique-Nique is a french restaurant from the team behind Casse-Croûte. There's an expertly chosen wine list, a range of seasonal starters, mains to share and great desserts. Sit at the bar counter and watch the chefs cooking or entertain your guests at their large table located in the middle of the main dining room.     A quirky, classy venue. Modern French cuisine with excellent quality ingredients, cooking and presentation. Charming and efficient staff. We had a wonderful evening.

    Firstly, my family and I have been coming here for years as local Bermondsey residents and it has been a firm favourite. Unfortunately, the last couple of times (in recent years) we have been we have found the food to be excellent but the service lacking. We were really rushed through our meal, told we must order a certain number of dishes before our drinks order was taken and then met with an impatient manner when asking for a wine recommendation. We were told at least three times we had a table coming in after us (which we have no problem with but only need to be told once). You often remember great food but always remember sub par service, which unfortunately has been our experience of late. Such a shame as it used to be a much more welcoming restaurant
