We needed a spot equidistant between Lake Forest/Geneva. So, we gave it a shot based on lunch experiences at Cooper's Hawk. Super crowded at 6 on a Sunday night but no wait for table. Service was excellent, food was marginal, and prices were reasonable. However, no need to return.

Second time there and it did not disappoint. We’re Cooper’s Hawk members and really enjoy this restaurant. Had the arancini, chopped salad and spicy pepperoni pizza. So good. Their reserva wine and Chianti are both excellent as well. We will be back.

First time trying the pasta fagioli soup. Very very good! Had the chianti which paired well the soup and the pappardelle with short rib bolognese. Noisier than usual with holiday shoppers, but not intolerable.

For a 4:15 reservation we arrived at 4:05. We we not seated until 4:40. The reason I mention this is because there were several empty tables the entire time we we waiting. When we were finally seated I counted 8 empty tables. The Mama Luca’s meatballs were delicious for an appetizer. The arugula salad was terrific. The Red njuda pizza and the Red margarita pizza was delicious as well. We had a terrific server.

We had an amazing experience with Patrick as our server. He was quick and efficient and extremely polite/friendly. Next time we go in, we know who to request 🥰🙏🏻
