   PF Changs has consistently good food and ambiance. They were very busy when we were there-actually nice to see!!

   Food and service was excellent. However, the table tops are sticky and need refinishing badly. We got flea bites as well. I recommend bringing a table cloth and wear long pants. My friends won’t go there, so we will head to PF Chang’s restaurant in Fashion Island. Much better. Again, the food, service and staff were outstanding . The place needs a little TLC and it will be a destination again.

   Terriyaki chicken did not taste like authentic terriyaki chicken which was very disappointing. Who wants chicken fried?

   It PAINS me to leave this review, but their senior/corp mgt NEEDS to see this and make some changes, ASAP! As a frequent diner at this Changs at the Irvine Spectrum (Our 6th visit in 3 the last 3 months!), we ordered our usual appetizers and Mongolian Beef. Changs - especially this location - HAD previously been our fave restaurant, but because of this recent experience, we probably won't return. Although the male Server was fine and the Manager was exceptional in that he kept trying to do everything possible to make us happy, it is obvious that either their NEW recipes for existing items are FAILURES and/or their cooks/chefs need to be better trained to produce better food. Our table ordered Crispy Green Beans and the Won Tons which were BOTH, VERY GOOD! The Spring Rolls (2 orders!) were a FAIL! They each smelled like BLEACH and the Spring Roll sauce was TERRIBLE! We were told that they changed the Spring Roll SAUCE recipe (AGAIN since last month???), but it was AWFUL!!! (We liked the "Won Ton" sauce - which we were told was a "Plum" sauce, but it tasted Orange to us!) Didn't want to get another "Bleach-smelling" Spring Roll order, so we declined a replacement. However, the REPLACEMENT, Spring Roll sauce that we got looked like (and TASTED like!), tomato soup! (WHY not have the DELICIOUS, Spicy Orange Sauce back for the Spring Rolls???) Then, the 2 orders of Mongolian Beef were SO BAD (LOOKED LIKE/tasted like it was ONLY fried in oil!), we had to ask for the "regular" Mongolian Beef SAUCE as an addition, to make them edible/sweet like they usually were. With all of these recipe "changes" and/or mistakes, we were SO disappointed! Changs is not inexpensive and we always looked forward to dining there as a treat (and a place to take friends!). The Newport Beach location has been a "no-go" since they crammed so many extra tables in and if feels like McDonalds! Now, Changs/Irvine is also off our list. Sad.

   The overall experience was good. The food was delicious and made well. They seem to be short-staffed as we waited to be served for over 15 mins, then over 10 mins to get water, another 15 to place an order…

   Wait staff forgot about our appetizer. We had to remind him when he brought main dishes. Tables full of dishes etc. no one clearing them. Food okay. Still somewhat cold. Not going back.

   We’re frequent diners at PF Chang but we noticed some changes in their recipe. Pad Thai was made to look more “creamy” which we didn’t like. it appeared the eggs were cooked blended rather than as scrambled. Also, KungPao chicken was extremely salty. In retrospect, we should have returned the dish to be remade but didn’t want to bother. But the service was wonderful, the server was very attentive & friendly which saved the day.

    What a great dinner we had a PF Changs! Our Server, Andrew, was very attentive (and our previous Server, Kaylee even stopped by to say "hello"). As always, food was very good (Spring Rolls, Won Ton's, Green Beans and the Salt & Pepper Prawns), but would not recommend their "new" Orange Chicken. Even w/a request to have "light" spice, I ended up not eating much of it and will give the leftovers away. It is not very "orange" and has a peppery-vinegar taste. Since there is SO much to enjoy at this Irvine Changs, we will return again, next week!
