   We made a reservation through open table and we got there and we’re informed that they weren’t receiving all of the open table reservations. It was Valentine’s Day but either way my table should have been secured.

   On Valentine's Day, the food and service were very good. But the wait to be seated was awful, even though we made reservations long in advance. Overbooked? It appeared so. Too bad, since the rest of the evening was fine.

   We were there for our 40th anniversary. Austin was great, the food was great. It was a terrific evening.

   My food was ok the veggie lettuce wraps was greasy which was unexpected the cucumber salad was fresh but lacked flavor- my server was amazing and on point. It was not worth $40 and I'm not a cheap person.

   The food rating was from average to very good. The Mongolian beef was average, the vegetable spring rolls and sweet and sour chicken were very good.

   We had been wanting to try a PF Chang's restaurant for a while, since we had bought their frozen entrees many times and really liked them. So we stopped here while passing through Albany. The meal was good except for one thing: I didn't read the menu clearly and didn't see that there was shrimp in the won ton soup. (I had never heard of such a thing and assumed that the soup was the usual won ton soup that every Chinese restaurant has.) I am highly allergic to all seafood and was happily eating the dumplings in the soup when I came upon a shrimp. I couldn't believe it was a shrimp and had my husband taste it. He said, yes, it's a shrimp! And so he took my soup, finding three more shrimp in it, and kept an eye on me as I ate HIS appetizer. Luckily --- and amazingly --- I had no anaphylactic symptoms from the soup. But I asked to see the menu again, and sure enough, it said there was shrimp in the won ton soup! Although it was my own fault for not reading the menu fully, I think that this fact should be in bold print for those of us allergic to seafood and especially since I had never heard of shrimp being in won ton soup. I carry an epi-pen with me, but had I eaten the shrimp in the soup --- which I could have, since I wasn't actually looking for it as I ate --- the situation probably would have turned out differently. My sweet and sour chicken was very good and there was so much of it that I took it home and had the rest of it the following night. My husband said his sweet and sour shrimp was excellent. We were too full for dessert. The service by CG was perfect and very friendly. The restaurant was very clean and the noise level from customers was pretty quiet. The music playing, though, was a bit loud and didn't suit the atmosphere of an Asian restaurant. We would probably go to this restaurant again if we were passing through Albany in the future.

   This was a very bad experience that left a sour aftertaste. Made reservations through OpenTable four hours prior to arrival. Noted on the reservation notes that is was the wife's birthday and requested a half-round booth. Our plans changed and we were able to arrive an hour earlier than was anticipated so I amended the reservation in OpenTable before arrival. Upon arrival the hostess stated that our reservations had not been amended and we were too early for our reservation. She said she would see what she could do and for us to have a seat. When I returned from the restroom, I learned that she had seated my wife in the middle of the half empty restaurant in a tiny two-person table, not a booth as requested. When our server appeared I insisted on being moved to a quieter location. We were relocated to a small booth near the kitchen entrance. Again, the restaurant was half empty on a Sunday evening and there were very many empty half-round booths. The lettuce chicken wraps (which are usually delicious) were brought to the table with lettuce shells that were not full sized. They were small and not conducive to holding or retaining the food without leaking and falling out. The fluid from the appetizer wraps leaked on both of our hands, arms, and clothing. Never experienced this before at a PF Changs. Another frustrating experience! There was no spoons or knives provided in our napkin wraps, just forks. The Mongolian Beef and the Pepper Steak entrees lacked flavor, while the brown rice was very dry. The Great Wall of Chocolate cake was very good though. A very generous sized dessert. It was our worst experience at a PF Chang's, but it was our first experience at the Albany location. We will not be returning anytime soon to this location. It was a miserable experience on a very slow night at the restaurant and the staff seem uninterested in caring at all. Never saw a manager visible during our 90-minute dining experience. Unfortunate tone set by an uncaring hostess.
