   This was one of the best meals I have had in years. We got there early so we could get cocktails at the bar. Bartender was poetry in motion shaking and stirring and moving to the flow of service. Moved seamlessly to the table when it was ready. Servers, Susana and one other whose name I did not get, were excellent. They helped me choose a wine (Gigondas, an amazing get for a BTG list!) to go with the lamb (which was phenomenal, brought me back to my childhood Christmas at my grandmothers house). The whole meal tasted amazing. Every bite brought pure bliss. We got, for two people: Pâté (from Charcuterie menu, came with a light salad), Steak Tartare, and the beet and walnut salad with the chèvre croquettes to start, followed by the rack of lamb with a side of macaroni gratin. We rolled out the door fat and happy. Thank you for the excellent meal and service!

   I have dined at the Petite Boucherie many times over the past decade. The food, service, and ambience have all been consistently excellent over the years. I always dine there while in Manhattan. It feels like a home away from home.

   We loved our dining experience. The food was excellent, and the service was very good. We opted to sit at the bar instead of a table, and they were just as attentive when we got their attention. I would return to this location. The vibe is cozy and great for dates, and the holiday decor is charming.

   Sometimes you want to go to a place that’s in New York, other times you want to go to a place that is of New York. The smaller Boucherie is OF New York, its larger sibling is IN New York.

   Both the salmon and the beet salad were wonderful. The cheesecake was unique and amazing.

   Firstly the restaurant well designed and has a cosy feel - however I’m afraid that’s the only positive. The kitchen and service was dysfunctional with most of the guests waiting extended period before seeing any food. We waited an hour - and the beef Bourguignon bore little resemblence to it classic origin missing onions and carrots. It did feel like the chef was not up to it - much to the frustration of those trying to serve and customers. I hope this was an isolated car crash evening otherwise it won’t be around long, Shane about my birthday too!!

   Honestly my favorite restaurant in the West Village. The food and ambiance is special and the service is top notch. The staff is so welcoming, and always remembers us. Highly recommend!
