In 2024, the original location of Petit Trois, on Highland Ave in Hollywood, celebrates 10 years as a beloved, can't miss part of LA's dining scene. Chef/Owner Ludo Lefebvre puts his spin on classic French flavors including the cult-favorite Big Mec burger, swimming in rich Bordelaise sauce, perfectly roasted Heritage chicken with compressed potatoes fried in clarified butter, a French Dip sandwich served with a version of the restaurant's onion soup for dipping, and lots more. Start with the restaurant's housemade baguette served with the creamiest French butter and pair it all with wine from the restaurant's thoughtfully curated list, which includes 16 by the glass options. With a design inspired by classic Parisian bistros, Petit Trois transports guests in its 2 dining areas as well as an outdoor patio. The dining room is also available for private events.

The food was good. Wine list is very limited unless you want to go to the $1,000-2,000 a bottle range. I wish I had brought my own wines and paid the cork fee; then it would have been great!

Service was great... however, the value isn't quite there. The two best things I enjoyed were the baguette bread and my cocktail. Everything else wasn't that great. To be clear, the food isn't bad, it's just not worth the price on my opinion.

As always, we love going to Petit Trois for the delectable selection of dishes, all prepared right in front of of you if you’re lucky enough to sit at the counter watching all the delicious magic taking place. We love the food, the enjoyable banter among all the staff, and the fact that it’s some of the best French cuisine in LA.

I would love to say it was fabulous full stop but I had a lukewarm burger which is so disappointing. The service was EXCELLENT and they took the burger off the bill which was totally the right thing to do. I will go back and give it another go. Everything else was perfection.

Always flawless. I mean it’s Petit MF Trois. Perfection in its juxtaposition and consistency. My number one go to always favorite. If you haven’t done it sit at the counter. If you want to just chill sit outside. Perfect for lunch or brunch, but don’t start making it impossible for me to get a table here.

Overall was good experience, nice restaurant with good food. We got to sit at the bar table and watching the chefs cook was very entertaining, we had the onion soup which has good as well as the escargot, however I did not particular like that the added parmesan cheese which took from the butter. We also had the endive salad which I thought was the best dish of all and the steak and frites which also good. French food at a good level.
