My wife and I tried for brunch today. Service was amazing! Drinks amazing! Breakfast food ok. French fries amazing! We will go back for lunch and dinner food to see if it beats the breakfast food. We really enjoyed the service and vibe. Hopeful to make this a 6 star location.

We chose Pennyville Station for our holiday party. I am so glad we did! Emma, our server, was wonderful. We had a larger group. She was patient and kind. She checked on us often. We started with the lemon basil hummus (SO light and fresh), the vegetable potstickers got good reviews (I never got to try one:)), and the kung pao cauliflower. Our entrees were fabulous! Most of us ordered the walleye special - it was absolutely amazing! It was very fresh and delicate. The preparation was pretty and delicious. They were happy to sub out broccolini for the mashe potatoes for a couple of us. One had the Wagyu burger which was huge and very tasty. It came with crispy fries! One had the short rib risotto; she said it was fantastic! We tried four desserts: tiramisu (So good, light and refreshing), warm apple pie/ crisp (really good!), key lime pie (best I've had in a LONG time), and the rich chocolate cake. It was a wonderful experience! We will be back!!!

Food and Service was excellent. The scallop dinner was excellent, the sauce was amazing. The filet kabob was cooked perfectly. Ella, our waitress, was both very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend the Pennyville Station experience. Had a great time!!

Burger was overcooked, I asked for medium rare. Gluten free bun fell apart. Server never checked on so I never got ketchup.

The service was disappointingly slow, despite the restaurant not being very busy. We waited at least thirty minutes after being seated before receiving our drinks. The food itself was good, and our waitress was friendly. However, when the bill arrived, there were charges added twice that shouldn't have been an hour bill. Additionally, a credit card fee was automatically applied without even asking if we intended to pay with cash or card. Adding a credit card fee feels unnecessary and a bit off-putting. If needed, simply raise the menu prices slightly to cover these costs—most people use credit cards, and most restaurants do not do this. This approach would feel more transparent and respectful. I don't think I would go back.
